Dr. Silva is the Creator and Medical Director of The FOOT Steps Program (Focus on Opiate Transitions). FOOT Steps is an interdisciplinary pain management program that helps people with chronic pain transition away from classic opiate use while fostering resilience, health and wellness.
Dr. Silva is board certified in Pain Medicine, Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment, and holds the highest certification conferred by the American Osteopathic Association of Addiction Medicine.
After completing her medical education at Western University, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, she was awarded a Fellowship in Osteopathic Manual Medicine and Neuromuscular Medicine. She completed residency at the Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program, a program that was named in U.S. News and World Report as one of the top 10 residencies while she was in attendance, and which provided specialized programming in Integrative Medicine. Following residency, she completed an interventional pain fellowship, with a focus in neuromodulation, at IPM Medical Group.
Dr. Silva is a Northern California native and outdoor enthusiast.
