I began training individuals in 2011. Over my years I became more interested in issues of functional movement, correcting muscle imbalance and addressing chronic pain. I had spent most of my adult life overweight or obese. In 2008, I got serious about making a change. I shifted to a healthy balanced diet and began training with Tai Chi and Qigong exercises. I dropped 60 pounds, totally transformed my life and health. That led to a passionate quest to help others.
I am certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist & Senior Fitness Specialist. I am a certified Tai Chi for Health instructor. I also have multiple specializations through TRX-Suspension Training.
