Ana Espitia RN, ADN, BSN, MSN, FNP-C graduated nursing in 2009 with an Associate’s degree from Napa Valley College. Due to the unfavorable job market that resulted after the 2008 financial crisis, it motivated her to continue with her education to pursue her passion for providing care for the underserved populations in her community. This led her to Sonoma State University, where she graduated from the Community Health Nurse program in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and graduated from the Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2014 with a Master’s degree in nursing.
Ana has experience caring for diverse populations in a variety of healthcare settings which has enhanced her clinical knowledge. She has clinical experience in family practice, opiate addiction, and pain management. She joined IPM at Walnut Creek in 2015. She divides her time working at IPM as part of the care team in helping patients manage their chronic pain and at her community health clinic where she cares for patients from all ages with acute and chronic diseases. Her goal as a provider is to help patients develop self-growth, well-being and improve health. Her ambition as a provider is to have a positive impact in her community she serves so that future generations will enjoy superior health and living.
Outside of work, Ana loves spending time with her husband. She enjoys making memories with her loved ones, dining out, traveling, shopping and taking time off to relax.
